Study Smarter, Not Harder
Spending hours with a book open doesn't mean learning is happening. Here are techniques to maximize your efficiency.
The Pomodoro Technique
Study for 25 minutes, then take a 5-minute break. After 4 cycles, take a longer break. This keeps your brain fresh and focused.
Active Recall
Instead of re-reading notes, close the book and try to recite what you learned. This forces your brain to retrieve information, strengthening memory.
Spaced Repetition
Review material at increasing intervals (1 day, 3 days, 1 week). This combats the forgetting curve.
Feynman Technique
Try to explain a concept in simple terms, as if teaching a child. If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.
